about logan
Logan Sandefur is an award-winning arranger, artist, songwriter, music director, and aspiring producer currently based out of Miami, FL. In early 2024, Logan wrote, recorded, aided in the production of, and released his debut album “Projections” under his artist project Logan James. His through-composed storytelling and arrangement skills combine with his love for 2000s alternative pop and rock influences to create a record that sits comfortably between those genres.
When not recording and releasing music of his own, Logan is currently in his second year of being the co-music director of his college a cappella group BisCaydence from the University of Miami. While with the group, Logan has been the shared recipient of the 2024 ICCA South Semifinal Best Arrangement award, as well as the 2024 ICCA South Quarterfinal Best Vocal Percussionist award for his work on their competition set “Frostbite”. His co-arrangement with Julia Barrist of “bury a friend” by Billie Eilish is also set to be included in the 2025 Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) playlist, marking BisCaydence’s first appearance on the compilation in over five years. Recently, Logan received his first ever Contemporary A Cappella Awards (CARA) nomination for his arrangement of “LIKE I WOULD” by ZAYN for the aforementioned BisCaydence.
